Add the rolled oats, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, chia seeds and salt to a mason jar or lidded container.
Add the milk, almond butter, yogurt and maple syrup. You can either add the yogurt now or wait until you're ready to eat.
Screw the lid on very tightly and shake well to evenly combine all the ingredients.
Transfer the jar to the refrigerator and let it sit overnight, or for at least six hours, to thicken.

The next day, take off the lid and breakfast is ready. Garnish with extra chocolate chips and fresh berries if you like, and eat cold — or if you prefer it hot, heat in a microwave-safe bowl or a small saucepan on the stovetop.
